Here is my traditional post with JennCK Designs new releases! I totally adore these 2 kits. Jenn is improving her designing skills like crazy. It just always gets better!! Love her to pieces!! And the first LO that I have to show you today is a collab she did with Stolen Moments, and is available at her guest store at ScrapMatters. It is called Aviator, and it's totally awesome! It'll be perfect to scrap any LOs for your little aspiring aviator. It can be used for all your traveling's LOs, as well as any military related LO. Yep. That's how versatile it is! Check it out!

Next is a pet kit titled Rex & The Kitty. Ok, I know that pet kits aren't for everyone. And I thought I was one of them. Until I get this kit. Honestly. This is the cutest thing out there. The colors are fabulous, and not too childish. It's it versatile enough for you to use it for your dog or cat. Surprisingly, I enjoyed playing with it very much! And for this one, I'd recommend the value bundle which includes a template and cluster pack! =)

I feel so bad. I REALLY have been neglecting this plate. I apologize, but again, life has been crazy around here! It normally is during October. Once the winter arrives, I most probably will be a little more active on this blog.

Next... I bring you Fall Frolic. I honestly LOVE the palette of this kit. And to be honest, the preview doesn't do it justice. I think it's in my top 3 kits for the season so far. It's probably because of these cute squirrels!!! Yep. That's right. The squirrels are the best! And she made some cute clusters for that one. I am sorry I have been neglecting my blog terribly. I just don't have the time, or the energy, to dedicate myself to this right now. There are a lot of stuff currently going on in my life, so I am just hoping you all understand! But, I am here today to bring you some more goodies by JennCK Designs. Fall is my FAVORITE season of them all, and Jenn has 2 new releases in store that will just be PERFECT to scrap all your apple picking LOs, as well as your Halloween LOs. And she have done it again! Jenn made some AWESOME kits recently, and I am super excited to show you what I have done with both of them. Honestly, I think they are my favorites from her so far! First is a kit called Tuscany. Get this kit, and I promess you'll want to take a little trip to Italy! I love all the purple and the cute elements she included in that kit. Ok so I have been really busy designing lately... But I didn't forget about the designers I CT for! I have a couple of new goodies to show you today. If you come back tomorrow, I'll have more stuff to show you from JennCK Designs. So stay tuned for that! But for now, here's what Mye De Leon have been working on lately!

First, this GORGEOUS little boy kit was released last week, and it's called Atta Boy. And let me tell you, it is truly fantastic. The elements are so unique and beautiful! And I heart that color palette very much!

Next is her collab with eNKay Designs titled Waiting for the Sun. I find the theme quite unique, and the colors are pretty amazing! If you're a fan of monochromatic pages, this is the kit for you! I'm loving the alpha in that kit! Check it out!

And last but not least... Discovery Zone, in collaboration with Connie Prince. I mean, can this get better?! Every month they make a kit together, and it keeps getting better and better! Honestly, I don't know how they can top this one! It is GORGEOUS. All the elements in there are adorable, and the stacked papers and clusters they did are just perfect to help you make the best LOs ever! Really, you can NOT miss that kit!

So I have recently joined JennCK Designs CT, and I am super excited to show you what I've done with her stuff this week! I feel honored to be part of her team, her designs are just completely stunning! She will keep me very busy, that's for sure!

The first kit that I have used is called Chippy Mint. I am a total addict to chocolate and mint together, and I just fell in love with the colors of this kit! I thought it was a unique color swatch to use! The kit's so chic, elegant and refreshing and is available at Scrapbook-Bytes, for the very low price of 2.99$. To cupcakes!! Seriously. I have this new obsession and I just can not get over it! I am in love with them! They are so cute, and they taste... Delicious! The best cupcake I have ever ate is a Lemon cupcake, with buttercream icing, decorated with pansy flowers. Yes. Real edible pansy flowers. I have found this website where they tell you everything you need to know about making these little edible flowers! Check it out HERE!

And then... My ultimate favorite cupcake books has to be this 500 Cupcakes by Fergal Connolly. Honestly, the recipes are so yummy! And they are fairly simple! Be sure to check out the entire collection... They have 500 Cookies, 500 Cakes, 500 Pies, 500 Soups, 500 Apetizers, 500 Pizzas. They are all very useful! =)

And last but not least... My body cream! Honestly, I am totally addicted to this wonderful body cream by Bodycology. The vanilla cupcake smells makes me want to... Lick my hands all the time! I just can not stop using it. I find myself putting that cream on several times a day, just because it smells good. I have never been so addicted to a cream before! I definitely need to get more of their product, I totally LOVE this brand. Check it out for yourself right HERE!

Looking back, I have this to regret, that too often when I wanted a cupcake, I did not have one.

I am so sorry for being a little MIA this week. I have had my hands full with the Scavenger Hunt going on at Scrapable and I have neglected my blog! But here I am, with some exciting news! I am so honored, and happy about Captivated Visions new template set. Why? Well, because they were inspired by ME!! Yes. That's right! For the first time, you can have Mycau's LOs made into templates! Isn't that exciting? Oh well, at least it is for me! I hope everyone is enjoying their week-end so far! I am here today to share with you some amazing new releases! Let's start with Scrapable first! Friday is new release day at Scrapable, and here are the new goodies you can find in the store! =)

First... Scrapshana! She have 2 kits that were released yesterday. One is called Brain Freeze! It truly is perfect for all your summer pictures! The kit is full of popsicles and really bright colors! Here's what I have done with it!

And her next kit is actually 2 mini-kits! Combine the 2 together, and you will end up with a full kit! It is title Fly Me to the Moon! I really love the papers in that one, and the elements are just too cute!

Next is a gorgeous kit from Dream Big Designs titled JayBird Street. I honestly adore the color combination! This kit is full of cute little birds and pretty little flowers! I really loved playing with it! The LO I made is actually a 2-page LO, for an album I am currently working on. It is my very first attempt at making a project like this and I am actually pleased with the final result! Here it is!

There is also a new release from CagedBird Design that I played with this week called You've Got a Friend in Me! This kit is so versatile, it's good for friendships of all ages, girls or boys! Again, this color combination is fantastic and the elements are very cute!

And last but not least... Mye De Leon, previously called Bubblescrap Designs! She is now selling at Gotta Pixel, and have a brand new release in the store! It is called With Minth & Cream Please! I have been reading this book this week by Lauren Weisberger, title Chasing Harry Winston. I. Am. Loving. It! I am almost done, and I started it last Sunday! I really like these girlie type of books! Shopping, men, friendships... And Weisberger's book is just PERFECT for my taste!

Meet Adriana, Emmy and Leigh, 3 girlfriends that desperately need some changes in each of their life! Adriana, the sexy bresilian, needs to stop sleeping with every men she finds attractive. She needs to grow up a little, and realize that sex and money isn't the only answer in life! Emmy is the complete opposite! Relationships after relationships, she had enough of it. Home Made Chicken Pad Tai!

Ok, I promessed a recipe for the longest time now. Here it is! LOL I am sorry it took so long, I lost my USB wire to upload pictures on my computer. My step father had 3, so luckily he was able to give me one! So finally, I can stick to my words!

This week, I really didn't want to get TOO involved in the kitchen, as it is still VERY hot. However, a girl needs to eat! So I decided to make that simple Chicken Pad Tai recipe. It really is so simple fast, yet very yummy!

What you need:
Chicken- I'll let you be the judge on how much chicken you need. Of course, it'll all depends on how many people you've got to feed! Slice your chicken into bite size pieces.
Asian Stir-Fry Veggies- I normally buy the frozen ones. Considering I am alone, it just makes it that easier for me. If you prefer fresh veggies, I recommend you have brocoli, onions, green peas, carrots, mini corns and water chestnut.
Fettucini or rice noodle.
1 Egg
1 enveloppe of ClubHouse Pad Thai Seasoning Mix.

Optional: chopped peanuts, grated ginger, sesame seed,

What to do:
First, boil some water to cook your noodle. While the noodles are cooking, cook your chicken in a little bit of oil. Once your chicken is grilled a little, put it aside in your pan. Add your egg and scramble it. Once your egg is cooked, add all your vegetables and mix it all together. Let it cook by mixing it often for a couple of minutes, until your chicken is ready. Add your ClubHouse seasoning mix with 1 cup of water (add also your ginger if you decided to use any!). Let it sit there, covered, for about 5 minutes. By now, your noodles should be ready! Dump your noodles in your pan, mix it well, add your peanuts and/or sesame seeds... And you are ready to eat!

FYI- This meal will even be better the next day, as the noodles rest in the sauce, they will get more flavor!

Ok. I do apologize for not posting anything since Tuesday. But let me explain... We've been having the most discusting weather in Montréal, and let me tell you... I was way too lazy to do anything. It's been CRAZY hot and humid here. We actually had the hottest heat wave in history... The weather was anywhere between 105-115 all week, including humidex. And guess what?! I don't have A/C in my small little apartment... And I'm on the 4th floor. So I wasn't really productive! Now it's a little better, we actually had crazy thunderstorm on Friday... There was so much rain!! It chilled the air a little and it's now much more comfortable! I was planning on cooking this week, but again... I ate salad all week, I didn't want to start the oven... So hopefully I'll get to cook this week and show you some pictures and share my recipes! We'll see how it goes!

I don't know if you're like me, but when it comes to food, I just love to experiment new recipes. I am always looking for something new to make, and I rarely cook the same thing twice. At least when I am cooking for myself! Not because it ain't good, but more because I am always wanting to try new recipes and taste something new! Now that the summer has arrived, I will be eating a LOT of salads. I love salads. And I love my salads to have som fruits in it! I was browsing on the web, to find some good salads to try... And to my surprise, I found exactly what I was looking for! For the Love of Cooking has a bunch of recipes!

And there is much more than salads! I haven't tried anyting from there yet, but seriously... Everything just looks so yummy! Now... I am hungry! For the love of Cooking.net, you will see me again! =)

Honestly, am I the only person on the planet that have had enough of the FIFA WorldCup?! Ok, I know, it's on once every 4 years so I should suck it in and stop complaining about it. But you know what?! I don't understand soccer (or I should say football!). There is a bunch of dude, on a large green field, running around like a bunch of chickens with no heads, that are faking injuries. What's the point?! AND they score once every 2 games! Tell me, WHY is there a goalie in front of the net?! Take him out, we'll have at least the chance of having games that the final score is not 0-0 or 1-0. My Spanish friend say I don't understand... Maybe I don't. And then he tells me: "It's part of who we are. It's our culture. It's our religion." Than it clicks... Yes. I do understand. These are the words that are coming out of my mouth when I'm speaking of hockey. Hockey is MY religion. It's part of MY culture. It's what I grew up in. It all makes sense. Whether it is hockey, soccer, basketball, baseball... A sport it a sport. And a sport event such as the NHL Playoffs, or the Fifa WorldCup, brings people together. That's what's great about sports. It will bring people together. So I take back my words... I haven't had enough of the FIFA WorldCup. Because it brings people together, and that's what's magical about it. Too bad Canada isn't represented in that tournament... But let me go ahead and cheer for Portugal! Why Portugal?! Just because me and my Spanish friend will have a blast arguing over the next week about who's going to win it! Spain vs. Portugal. June 29th! =)

The Wait is Almost Over...

Yes, that is right. The wait for Eclipse is almost over. I can not wait for the 3rd movie, as the book was probably my favorite one. Well, of course... It's hard to say which one is my favorite, because I do change my mind ALL the time! I honestly have big expectations for this movie, with the trailer they showed us... It can NOT be bad. I should be hitting the theater next Friday! But enough talking about the movies! What I really am interested in is BOOKS. Yes. I do have a nerdy side. I just love love love reading! So I will be blogging about books! *Remember, I am currently making a blog makeover!* And I am currently reading The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner, by Stephenie Meyer. Do you remember Bree?! She was a character from Eclipse. The author decided to write a little novel about her. And it is really interesting to read Meyer's perspective about the 'bad' side of vampires. I like it so far, even though I find it a little weird reading a book and knowing how it is ending! And you know what's great?! You can read it for FREE online on RIGHT HERE! Footprints in the Sand...

Hey everyone!
This new release just comes at a PERFECT time... Let me tell ya, it's getting freakin' HOT in Montreal. We are beating so heat record... Normally at the end of May, we would normally have a temperature of around 18-20 Celsius degrees. Since last week, it's been WAY over that. With the humidity, because it is REALLY humid around here, we can feel the 37-38 Celsius degrees. We won't complain though... The winter has been rough! LOL
So with all the heat and sun, I needed a beachy kit... And honestly, I have THE cutest thing ever to show you today! I am more than proud to say that she is my mother. She is in peace with herself, and I can not wait to grow old like her! She is the best role model I could have!

Scrapable recently released their monthly collab for March. It is pretty different, all the designers chose their theme and colors and created a mini-kit. So basically, for 5$, you are getting a BUNCH of different mini kits to work it! They truly are fantastic!! You even have a template pack in there! I have made 2 LOs, one with Erin's Dreams Pieces of Me using one of Manda's Scrappin' Creations WA and a template by Kate, and the other LO with CG Designs' Bit of Spring!

Alright, so with all my commitments I recently have... A decision had to be made. I really was struggling too much with all these CTs, having a full-time job didn't give me enough hours in a week to be a goot CTM for everyone... So a decision had to be made, and it's with regret that I will not be part of Azur's CT anymore. It makes me really sad, as it was a great CT to be on and she truly is an amazing designer. She is currently having a CT call, as well as a guest call... So make sure you check it out! The requirements are pretty simple, so you should totally go for it!

Guess who's back!

Hey guys!
I am back from my little escape! We had a blast, even though we didn't do that much... LOL. It's not the best time to go on a road trip, it is winter after all and there isn't that much to do or see so we did a lot of road! But we had fun, and that's what's important!
Alright, enough said... I have been really busy playing catch up with all my CT duties. I was able to make that LO on time for Mimi's new release! Her kit is called Douceur Naturelle (Natural Softness) and it is truly beautiful. The colors are amazing, and there are many different sort of elements you can use to create all kind of stylish pages!
